My very first post since i entered uni.... haha...
Well.. i m currently sitting in my real cozy hall room, busy typing away...
anyway since my last post, i had been real busy, as straight after camp is school!
My hall camp was real fun though it started off pretty boring. however... things picked up and gradually everyone had so much fun! haha.... octavious rocks!! =)
Managed to squeeze my entire hall camp experience in 2 sentences! lol... so sorry ppl! but i am real lazy to go into details... haha..
Anyway first 2 weeks of school was pretty hectic, with loads and loads of "getting lost" experiences. Seriously the shuttle bus routes are pretty complicated (or issit because i can't be bothered to look at the bus route map before i board the bus? lol.) This resulted in me being late for practically every lecture and tutorials that i have had. grand entrancing for every single one of them! lol...
Academically school life is pretty similiar to that of jc life.... i suppose this had something to do with the fact that i am taking an engineering course, so i still got to learn stuff like vectors, complex numbers as well as the different types of bonding. I think the only thing that is different is that u do not have a fixed grp of classmates. This caused a serious problem for me as i do not know a single person in my course well enough to form permanent studying kakee! so ya... i have to do that loner thing all the time... true that i go lesson with ppl, but it kinda feels different as compared to jc where even lessons are fun! hope things will get better!
But i certainly enjoy uni life as a whole as u do get to know very different ppl, ppl who thinks differently as well as ppl who are older than u, ppl with different interest!
still smiling and surviving! =)

Just came back from my really fun camp.. CAMP INSINYUR!!! haha....
it was great, as i get to know many ppl , especially those from my og group REAPER!! Yeah!
hmm....i wanted to go for a real detailed entry of wad happened in camp....but then i found out that my memories for these camps are kinda scattered.. as in not in chronological order, so i shall jus see wad i can remember! haha....
Well... on day one, i jus met my og... which turns out SURPRISE SURPRISE! there are more girls! haha... was kinda shocked.. i mean wad with all the rumours that says that engineering is not popular with girls??!! Especially ht and xy who kept sycho-ing me tt there are very few girls so as long as we are FEMALES then we sure get a place.. haha....
then we jus had a basic self intro, for example, "hi i am shiqi, i am from NYJC, going aerospace. I like to draw." okay that is wad i have said.. haha....short and sweet ya..
Turns out my og girls are really easy to talk to so we clique really well since day one. then we had activities held in school. In my opinion it was not bad for DAY 1. I mean isn't day one suppose to be real awkward??! but i certainly didn't felt tt way.. LUCKY ME!! Then after that 3 of the girls turns out to be fake freshie so ya... there is actually equal number of boys and girls! lol.....
oh man....i started to try recall wad we had done... and turns out that i am short of one day... haha...
well...if i am not wrong fright night is also on the first day...and it was SUPER DUPER SCARY!!! okay... there was a little exaggeration there but i was screaming my head off.... haha... so unlike me... but it is true.... totally pity the guy, clifford, that had to go in with me.. lol....
Before the actual trail, they made us watch a horror film.. can't really remember the title of the show, but it was freaking scary!!! There are like 4 parts to to the film, and ya...everything was scary even though i acted brave! haha... lucky franklin was there or else i will not understand the story. i mean wad with no subtitles and everything typed in thai?? lol... i dun understand thai for nuts. haha...
Anyway, Fright night totally target females... which is very unfair i think.... i mean wad about the guys??!! They are totally losing out in the fun! haha.. ( actually i would much rather prefer the guys to be the target, while i stand at the sideline and see they freak out. HAHAHA!!!) Insinyur fright night was really short so ya i was lucky in that sense... but i was already screaming the moment i took my first step... haha.... cos the ghost-like creature jumped right out of the door and scare me.. LOL...
subsequently, there are lots of scary stuff in which girls have to come out from hiding behind the guys and do stuff like ring a bell or sing lullaby... haha... one of the ghost even come out from a cupboard and grab my ankle!! i was like AHHH!!! haha.... (note that the cupboard mentioned above was impossibly small... dun even noe how the person managed to squeeze inside.. haha)
We also had to come up with a banner in which everyone jus put in our efforts and even staying up late to complete it. good job guys!! haha....
Then, me, daphne and sheena, had out first encounter with that girl who takes forever to bathe... man.... we are in a camp for goodness sake and she takes about half an hr or more??!!! the worst thing is that we are stuck with her for two whole days.. ultimate suay..... We can see the queue for the guys getting shorter every min, while ours? i stayed at the same spot for an hr.... lol...
anyway enough of day 1 and start on day 2
okay so second day, we gotta cook out own lunch. turns out fan hao is really good at preparing meals.. i mean everyone should see the way he cuts tofu.. damn pro... comparing the tofu that me and lilian cut to his.... it is obvious who is the winner! haha....
then we played the usual field games, eg tug of war, and all the rest whom names were too complicated to remember.. haha... then after that we learned our mass dance. My dance partner turns out to be aaron... totally pity him cos he gotta dance with a noob! haha.. but i am not bad k? jus that occasionally i get my lefts and rights wrong, and yup jus a little mix-up here and there.. nothing much.. haha... i am totally living in self-denial.. LOL!
Me and hui yun is like damn funny la... cos we ALWAYS get the 90 degrees jump part wrong... so we always end up facing one another, then we opps and jump in the opposite direction! lol.... we gotta buck up man! haha.... my error-filled dancing kakee!
anyway, at night we had initiation as well as meeting with our sp. That night was a night spent in absolute darkness.... so yup we had to play lots of games blindfolded, wanted to name some but due to severe limited memory space... haha.... then after that we had to meet our potential sp.. okay we had to do was to talk to 5 other sp then choose the one we think we like best... but turn out i was not informed about this so i jus chit-chat and waited, and become dinner for the mosquito family living nearby... sian sia... itching all over, yet u cannot move away.. haha.. so i jus randomly chose a guy which turns out to be not my sp anyway. haha...
That night was super dirty as they made us crawl in mud and also in different kind of weird mixtures of sauces... but we were certainly much better off than may other grps! haha... that day ended late and we slept like at 4 plus. (It should have been earlier if not for that girl mentioned above, who had been hogging the toilet since day 1...)
Day 3 was spent in sentosa, where we started off the day with lotsa beach games and yup sunshine, sunshine and more sunshine.... everyone have severe sunburns... okay almost everyone.... whereby zhi ming was the winner! i mean his was really ultimate! to think i thought mine was bad enough already.. lol...
Beach games were really fun and made to play games such as obstacles course and such.. there was this game where everyone was made to go into water then take of their shorts and swing it in the air... okay i admit thar game was pretty gross can?! lol... well but camp is camp... and u jus kinda throw away image and stuff... haha...
Then come the exhilarating yet torturous mua chee! okay, for those who do not noe, mua chee is kinda like a tradition of insinyur where by all freshie have to lie face down (suntanning postion) inbetween ppl of the opposite sex. Here comes the torturous part. Then each individual freshie will be turned round and round by the seniors over every single other freshie in the facedown postion! end result, everyone suffered bruises, giddyness, and many other horrible side effects... however come to think of it, it wad kinda like a roller coaster ride, painful but fun! haha...
That night we stayed at the sentosa resort. Ppl please do not be deceived by it seemingly innocent name! i mean when u listen to the name sentosa resort, u will expect something of average standard rite? but haha... we r all wrong... what we are provided with i s an extremely small squarish looking room which is jus sufficient to accomodate 5 beds. four of them are double-decker... yup and they expect 20 odd ppl to squeeze in??? tt is like 4 ppl per bed.. LOL....
End up, we girls (finally understand the benefits of being a girl.. haha...) get to sleep in the room while the guys had to sleep in some pavillion aka open air... according to fabian it was like sleeping in the middle of a sandstorm. LOL!
Okay guys, i shall confess.. at this point in time, i am really confused over when a particular activity is carried out so i shall just talk about the camp activity by activity k? haha...
Well, also carried in sentosa, was the campfire... each group had to come out with their own unique cheer as well as a short skit that portrays our group name which happens to be reaper! haha..... both daphne and sheena came up with the cheer which was not bad in my opinion... i mean within such a short time frame? Not bad! Not bad...
okay if my memory still holds true our cheer sounds like this.....

hmmm..... it should be correct i suppose... haha....
the skit was super impromptu... cos only three out of the entire grp knows exactly how the story will run while the rest of have no clue... so end up, the three person were in charge of the sound effects while the rest of us jus act accordingly.. we manage to pull it off though. LOL!!
Just then, after we had our skit, we had a loud explosion. BOOM!!! out of no where jumps out a horribly disfigured slimy green monster! rahhh!!!
We ran for a lives, every single one of us, and all around us screams, loud wailing screams, can be heard!! Then at the spur of the moment,
and we all live happily ever after....
okay the above 4 para was crap.... but i am tired of typing so yea, add some spice. haha....
anyway, i will continue with the remaining days another time! sorry to be anti-climax! =)

Just came back from celebrating pam's and xy's bdae!!
Was really fun..went ice-skating at kallang leisure park! IT WAS SUPERB!!! lol....
lucky for us, at abt 6 plus, the ice-skating rink was relatively empty, except for a few others... making it much easier for us noobies.. lol.
while we were there, there was this group of indian ladies, who were also ameteurs in ice-skating. We were like super understanding to one another, as both parties truly understand the importance of the almighty WALL.. haha..
Even though, all of us fell (except geri who clung tightly to the wall... haha), it was enjoyable, so ppl lets go again k??

After that, we met up with terence and zr and went to makan at seoul garden. Went there abit late though, so in no time it was 10. It was only then did i realise i haven eaten much! lol...
Anyway, that super creamy cake was enough to make everyone full... everyone should see xy's face.. haha.. she was on the verge of puking! lol.. (both she and ht had been gorging on hotdogs!)
Glad that everyone had a great time.. love outings like this!
Now i gotta prepare my heart, mind and soul, while i awaits ht to upload a new round of my chou zao into facebook... THANKS ALOT man.... lol..

It has been a long time since i last blog. if not for char's reminder i would have forgotten about the existence of this blog of mine. haha..
Anyway, i spend these past few days slacking around, playing games, reading, and watching anime. lol.. Going to be zai nu soon. haha..
Oh ya, and going out occasionally with my friends. My redeeming factor. lol.
I am starting to feel the stress of taking my practical driving test... i mean i keep screwing up??!!
oh man... i really wanna pass and get it over and done with. It is not that driving is not fun or anything, but the exam element, it kinda spoils it all. lol.
Going to celebrate pam's and xy's birthday tml! okay... it is a little belated (shrugs), but we sure put in alot of effort k? haha..

We will be going ice-skating!!! can't wait!! Niu is damn gross la... she said to wear long pants, or else our leg hair will be stuck to the ice.. lol.. i instantly imagined an ice-skating rink filled with leg hair... eww... gross!! lol...
